Type 2 Diabetes is becoming more common in Tower Hamlets, with some people at higher risk—including those who are older, overweight, have a family history, or experienced high blood sugar during pregnancy. Risk is also higher in South Asian communities.

The good news is that small, everyday changes can help prevent or delay it.
That’s why we’re launching In Our Hands—a healthy eating campaign focused on simple swaps and practical steps that support long-term health.

More to come during Diabetes Week.
